Meet Stephanie
Helping children, teens, couples, and families feel heard, understood, and less alone.

I'm Stephanie, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist who works with children, teens, couples, and families.

Over the years, I've supported people through anxiety, trauma, family conflict, relationship challenges, court involvement, and many of life's more complicated situations. Whether I'm working with a child struggling with big emotions, a teen who feels stuck, a couple navigating disconnection or rebuilding trust, or a family trying to reconnect, my goal is to help make sense of what's happening and identify realistic ways forward.

My approach is practical, structured, and grounded in real life. I believe therapy should feel supportive, but also useful. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a clear plan, practical guidance, and a space where they can talk openly without judgment.

I know reaching out can feel difficult. My goal is to create a space where children, teens, parents, couples, and families feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change.
My Experience
For more than 13 years, I have supported children, teens, couples, and families through a wide range of challenges. My experience spans community mental health, crisis intervention, child welfare, justice-related settings, and private practice.

I have worked with people navigating anxiety, trauma, behavioural challenges, family conflict, relationship difficulties, separation, reunification, and court involvement. Over the years, I have learned that no two situations are exactly alike. Before deciding what needs to change, I believe it's important to understand the people involved, the relationships around them, and the experiences that have shaped where they are today.

Today, I focus primarily on working with children, teens, couples, and families, helping them better understand themselves and one another, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
My Qualifications
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and I am currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and am authorized to provide psychotherapy services in Ontario.

I believe learning should never stop. Ongoing education and professional development help ensure the support I provide remains thoughtful, evidence-informed, and responsive to the needs of the children, teens, adults, couples, and families I work with.
